Limn ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our macOS application.

2. Audio Data

Our core privacy principle: raw audio recordings are not saved by the app.

• Audio is captured locally on your device and streamed to our speech-to-text provider for transcription.
• Raw audio recordings are not saved to disk by the app or stored on our servers.
• Meeting transcripts, summaries, topic tags, action items, decisions, and unresolved threads are stored locally on your device as session history.

3. What We Collect

• Account information: Email address and display name (via Sign in with Apple or Google).
• Meeting data stored on your device: Transcripts, AI-generated summaries, topic tags, action items, decisions, and unresolved threads.
• Usage data: Number of meetings and session duration for billing and service operations.
• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full payment details.

4. What We Do NOT Collect

• Raw audio recordings stored by us on our servers
• Emotion or sentiment analysis data
• Attention state or focus metrics
• Screen recordings or screenshots

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Deepgram: Speech-to-text transcription for audio streamed in real time.
• OpenAI / Anthropic: Text analysis for topic classification and summarization.
• Stripe: Payment processing.
• Supabase: Authentication, account, subscription, and usage data storage.

6. Data Retention

Meeting history stored by the app remains on your device until you delete individual sessions or remove local app data. Account, billing, and usage records may be retained by our service providers as required for service operation, legal obligations, and fraud prevention.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, export, correct, or delete personal data that we store or control.
